It's the last few days until the campaign ends! But this is just the beginning of The Creator's Compendium!
See, we've gotten ambitious. There is so much more of the Universe left to explore! So we've put together another stretch goal, at $60K: 5 scenes that take place in the sample settings! These scenes will work to showcase some of the many cosmic dangers, phenomena, and ideas in The Creator's Compendium – and as story starters and inspiration for budding fiction writers and worldbuilders!
And, that's not all – these scenes will also be transformed into full, plug-and-play 5E encounters in Mareesha's Cosmic Curiosities! So, if you haven't already, now's the time to make the plunge and help us reach this ambitious $60K stretch goal!

A Meteoric Rise: 1600% Funded! A Delve into Water Worlds!

Hello, everyone!
Before anything else, let me first say, again, "thank you". I'm profoundly humbled by each and every pledge!

We've just crossed $40,000, which puts us past our most recent stretch goal: more cosmic content for Mareesha's Cosmic Curiosities!
For those of you clamoring for more content for The Creator's Compendium, we have good news: the next stretch goal, at 50k, will be a deep dive (pun intended) into water worlds, which will encompass current exoplanet research, the survivability and perils of such planets and moons, and the exciting possibilities for storytellers!
And to top it off, I will be writing a new sample setting for the Storyteller's Study: Atryss. A moon orbiting a massive gas giant, Atryss is a gargantuan ocean, whose depths are replete with bizarre and alien life sure to inspire and astound! In this setting, I'll unpack the astronomical basis and give you the tools to make worlds just as intriguing!

Also, an update on the survey for the new concept in The Creator's Compendium (i.e. the first stretch goal)!
The plot has thickened: the two topics with the highest votes (Celestial Navigation and Exotic Weather) are now neck-and-neck!
I just wanted to remind backers, new and old, that you should vote for the extra cosmic concept soon if you haven't already; it should take less than a minute. Only backers on Kickstarter have this privilege, and you won't have a chance to do it later!

I'm continually in awe! Thanks to everyone for supporting this project so far!
I'm especially struck by the creative ideas in some of the comments and DMs I've received during this campaign, and it's very gratifying to know that The Creator's Compendium will be able to bring clarity (and fun) to the contemplative process of worldbuilding!

I'm psyched to reveal the next stretch goal, at $40k!
Mareesha's journey through the Milky Way, told through The Creator's Compendium, is filled with adventure and exploration—and more than a little danger.
At the next stretch tier, we'll be able to provide some of her discoveries: bonus content for Mareesha's Cosmic Curiosities! With 10 more monsters and 10 more magic items, your 5E games are about to get even more incredible!
To top it off, the new "celestial hazards"—never-before-seen epic plot and setting fixtures that drive storytelling and gameplay mechanics (like The Harbinger, a foreboding comet that foretells of great turmoil and world-spanning discord)—will have their ranks bolstered by several additional members!
For those that're more interested in the OG Creator's Compendium, stay tuned for the next stretch goal, which'll be geared for it.

I'm sure many of you are eager to know about the poll for the extra topic to be covered in The Creator's Compendium! As of right now, this is how it's shaken out:
Celestial Navigation is trailed by the next highest contenders – Exotic Weather and Symbiotes & Parasites – but all three are still well within reach! As backers join the campaign, I'd like to make sure they know that they should take a second and use their Google account to vote for their preference for the extra topic!
Again: I'm absolutely brimming with gratitude, and don't have the words to express it.

We're Over the Moon! Three Stretch Goals Down, and a Cosmic Concept to Choose!

All of you are amazing!
In case you haven't noticed, we've gotten past our first three (!) stretch goals! That means that each of you has an extra extraterrestrial topic to pick (see what I did there?) and Mareesha's Cosmic Curiosities will now come alongside Digital Tokens and contain new Cosmic Magic!
As for the extra topic for The Creator's Compendium, we've put together a survey with 5 awesome topics that aren't included in the book yet – and we want you to decide what you'd like to see explored further. You can take the survey right here!
Next Stretch Goal
We're not going to stop at just three stretch goals, of course, so we've already whipped one up for when we hit that $30K mark!
Our fourth stretch goal is an alternate cover for The Creator's Compendium, which will be available as an add-on option when you complete the backer survey at the end of the campaign.
I love the tasteful art deco cover that Hydro74 made for The Creator's Compendium, but there's something to be said for more color—it'll be interesting to see if we can one-up the masterpiece Klaher Baklaher did for the cover of Mareesha's Cosmic Curiosities!

WHAT A STELLAR START – WE’RE FUNDED!

The Creator’s Compendium is the culmination of a years-long dream of mine, and I’m completely floored at the news: WE’RE FULLY FUNDED!
It’s hard not to be very emotional! We swept past our initial funding goal of $2,500 in just 13 minutes. I’m overflowing with gratitude for all of you who have participated so far! THANK YOU, everyone!
As of writing this, we’re also above $5,000! Just like you don’t need a science degree to enjoy The Creator’s Compendium, you don’t need one to understand how amazing this is! But we’re just getting started.
Thanks to your amazing support, you’ve already unlocked the first stretch goal: Extra Cosmic Concept. That means we’ll get to include another cosmic concept in The Creator’s Compendium – and it’ll be up to you to decide which one it is!
We’ll send out a survey link in the coming days where you can vote for your favorite topic to be explored in The Creator’s Compendium.
Meanwhile, there’s more to which you can look forward, as we’re already closing on our next stretch goal: Digital Tokens. With this stretch goal – set at $10,000 – everyone who’s getting the digital version of Mareesha’s Cosmic Curiosities will also get VTT-ready tokens for all the creatures in the 5E supplement as part of their reward!
